Who this covers

Claude Personal is a private integration built and used by one person, Ryan O'Connor, to connect his own Google account to the Claude AI assistant running on his own computer. There are no other users. This policy describes how the integration handles Google user data.

What data is accessed

With the user's explicit consent through Google's sign-in screen, the integration accesses:

Gmail: reading, searching, drafting, sending, and modifying email messages in the user's own mailbox.
Google Calendar: reading, creating, updating, and deleting events on the user's own calendars, including sending invitations.

How data is used

Data is used only to carry out actions the user asks for in the moment, such as summarizing an inbox, drafting a reply, or scheduling a meeting. It is not used for advertising, profiling, training machine learning models, or any purpose beyond the user's direct request.

Storage and retention

The integration runs locally on the user's own computer. Google authorization tokens are stored on that computer only. Email and calendar content is fetched on demand and is not stored in any database or shared with any third party. Content the user asks the assistant to process is sent to the assistant's provider, Anthropic, for the sole purpose of generating the response the user requested.

Sharing

Google user data is not sold, rented, or shared with any third party, other than the transmission to Anthropic described above, which is necessary to provide the requested assistant response.

Limited Use disclosure

Claude Personal's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access

The user can revoke the integration's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access immediately invalidates the stored tokens.
